Grand Lodge Quarterly September 2014
Tuesday the 9th September so the traveling Mark Province of West Lancashire heading south to London for the 1st Quarterly Communication of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons in the season.

The meeting was once again being held at Freemasons Hall in Great Queen Street, a magnificent setting for a Grand Occasion.

The Travellers not only included our Provincial Grand Master, Peter Connolly, his Deputy Keith Beardmore and Michael Clarke one of his Assistants. but also the four Acting Grand Officers of the year, the Provincial Grand Secretary and a selection of Special Representatives, Acting officers of the Province and other well-travelled brothers in excess of 23 West Lancashire brethren attended and 20 stayed for the meal in the Connaught Rooms.
 
Essentially a business meeting, the meeting paves the way for the Investiture meeting next June. How quickly time goes.
 
The four Acting Officers, W. Bro. John Forster Junior Deacon, Steve Walls A.D.C. Mike Beesley and Ken Boon both Stewards were put through their paces at the practice by the Deputy DC's, and in no time at all they processed into the Grand Temple where the Pro. Grand Master MW Bro. Richard Victor Wallis dispensed the business of Grand Lodge in short order.
Following the meeting there was time for all present to partake of refreshment before an excellent meal.

Our Provincial Grand Master, Peter Connolly, was delighted to have
the company of our new Craft Provincial Grand Master, Tony Harrison.
 
Then off to the railway station to make our way home feeling fully satisfied we had had a good day out.
